July Goals

While I'm pretty great at setting goals, I'm hopeless at sticking to them. So I figured, maybe if I blog about my goals monthly, I'll have a better chance at succeeding. So here is the first instalment of my new little series!

1. Keep up with my blog
My main goal for the month of July (and every month after) is to regularly keep up with my blog. When I relaunched my blog back in January, I was super motivated to create new and exciting blog posts to share with you all, however life and uni seemed to take over and my motivation was lost. My goal now is to post on my blog twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays- wish me luck!

2. Drink more water
Another thing that I am so incredibly bad at is drinking water- especially when I'm at home all day! I'm a little bit better when I'm at work or when I go to the gym, but if I'm not doing anything I'm the worst! My goal is to drink at least two litres per day starting this month!

3. Exercise more
I joined a gym last year and since then my goal has been to go to the gym four times a week while trying to eat as healthy as possible. While I haven't achieved going four times a week, I haven't been too bad and usually go about three. This month I really want to step it up and make sure I'm doing a minimum of four days!

4. Read more books and blogs
Something I'm really bad at finding time to do is reading for enjoyment! By the time I've finished with my own blog and Instragram posts I always forget to or am too tired to read other peoples blogs. This month I really want to make an effort to read and engage with as many blogs as possible. I'd also really like to read more books! I just started Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty and I'm loving it so far so hopefully the motivation sticks!

5. Watch as much Netflix as humanly possible
My final goal for the month might seem a bit odd as I'm sure most people aim to watch less TV! However, when I'm at uni I don't get much chance to keep up with shows and uni break is my only option. So my final goal for July is to watch lots of Netflix and catch up with all the shows I love and haven't had time to watch!

  1. I definitely have a goal of being consistent with blogging even when uni starts up again. Consistency is always the tricky part, the to do list for blogging is never ending, especially balancing social media.

  4. Drinking more water is a major goal of mine too! I find that in Winter I get sooo parched, and I think it's because drinking cold liquids makes me freezing! Also, I'm totally with you on watching more Netflix. What's on your to-watch list?
